Diamonds and movie star lifestyle aside, the Lyken HyperSport can set pavement ablaze. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.7L flat-six that produces 780 hp and 708 lb-ft of torque. The builder, W Motors, claims the Lyken HyperSport has a top speed of 245 mph. It will jump from 0 to 60 mph in a scant 2.8 seconds and will hit 125 mph in just 9.4 seconds.
Power comes from a 5.7L V10 capable of 603 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque. The Carrera GT has a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.06 seconds and will hit 124 mph in just 9.25 seconds. It will finish the quarter-mile in 10.97 seconds at about 140 mph. The Carrera GT finished the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 7:28 minutes.

You’ll also enjoy a new appearance package which, while cool, is also functional, and was reported to reduce aero lift by around half. It also has big brakes from the Z06, special wheels, and a fantastic list of optional features. Look for a model with magnetic ride control and you won’t be sorry.
All things considered, the Honda Civic Type R isn’t just your run-of-the-mill hot hatch, but a well-balanced powerful compact which looks good, handles even better, and makes even the best sporty hatchbacks dull in comparison. There may come a time in your life where you desperately need a vehicle, but the scope of your search needs to contain only crazy cheap cars. The CRX Si received Honda’s D16A6 4-cylinder good for 105-108 hp (depending on the year and perhaps tailwind/grade) and 100 lb-ft of torque. If that doesn’t sound like much power to you, well…it’s not. Keep in mind though, that this is still basically a Civic, and that this car only weighs about 2,000 lbs. What sets this car apart from the Civic is not its power, but rather its style.
It’s generally more powerful than its sedan sibling since neither of the Forte5 trims dabbles with the Atkinson-cycle 147-horsepower version of the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. The Forte5 hatchback generates either 164 horsepower or 201 ponies in the top SX trim, which benefits from the 1.6L turbo four unit. Similar setup will likely carry over into 2019.
